Guilty Pleasure is a professional classic rock and popular hits cover band. Spanning music that represents the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, the new millennium to current, we play “Music For Everyone”!
Emulating classic songs of the 70’s and 80’s such as Hot Child In The City (Nick Gilder), Back On The Chain Gang (The Pretenders), Heartbreaker (Pat Benatar), Magic Man (Heart), Find Another Fool (Quarterflash), and Edge Of A Broken Heart (Vixen), Gp recreates those reminiscent, well written songs with powerful vocals.
To be sure to fill the dance floor, Gp evokes a fun environment with popular artists such as Styx, Queen, Blondie, Journey, The Bangles, Pseudo Echo, Roxette, Ben Harper, Guns ‘N Roses, No Doubt, Talking Heads, Pink, Cake, Kings of Leon, Prince, and so many more.
Gp is sure to not leave out the edgy rock styles and distinctive tones of the 90’s covering artists such as Alanis Morisette, Eve Six, Collective Soul, Seether, Buck Cherry and even Megadeth.
For those with a more “discerning” ear, you can enjoy a song list that Gp performs, providing you the option to dance, sing along, or just quietly tap your foot. Gp can duplicate an easy listening sound with songs and duets such as When Will I Be Loved (Linda Ronstandt), Rock Me Gently (Andy Kim), Go Your Own Way (Fleetwood Mac), I Love A Rainy Night (Eddie Rabbit), Let Me Be There (Olivia Newton John), Kiss You All Over (Exile), Wicked Games (Chris Isaac), and very current artists such as Jason Mraz, George Ezra, and many others.
Guilty Pleasure would be amiss of our duties if we did not play those thumping dance songs and heavy keyboard sounds that keep you moving on the dance floor! So Gp is sure to play current artists such as Cee Lo Green, Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams, Walk The Moon, Fall Out Boy, Elle King, Katy Perry, and of course, Lady Ga Ga, only to mention a few.
Kim is the founder, manager, and lead vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist of Guilty Pleasure. Originally developed as a three piece band on July 26, 2008, consisting of drums, bass guitar, lead guitar, and vocals. Strictly gigging in the private and corporate arena, Guilty Pleasure has a strong history of professional gigging. In September of 2015, “Gp” was realigned as a four piece lineup, to gig in the corporate arena, festivals, local bars, and venues.

If you bring 25 people (or more!) to each of the gig dates listed below you could be the winner!
The person who can bring the most attendees to each gig date (below), will be the winner of Guilty Pleasure performing for FREE at their own event!
If there is a tie for the contestant with most attendees, then there will be a random drawing that will occur live, at the Valkyrie – North Muskegon, on March 9, 2024.
One winner will be announced on this date. You must have a minimal 25 attendees at all three of our gigs (listed below) and must be present to win.
